Updates on the House

This has been a long process for Jesse. When we started working toward the dream of our new home Jesse cut down the trees and cleared out the brush where our house would sit. He put a lot of thought into where the best placement on our lot would be for our home and our driveway. He spent countless hours on designing our home on the computer. I would find him at all hours of the night changing something that he didn't think was going to be just right. He researched and figured out a way to pipe the water from the spring that we hit around our house, when they started digging the hole for our basement. I will have to say that I have learned that my husband is pretty handy to have around through this process. I had NO idea that he could do everything that he has been doing on the house. He has set our tub and shower units. He helped the builder set a couple doors and the big windows and then he tackled the rest of the windows and doors by himself. He has moved dirt with the tractor and ran the back hoe. These are just a few of the things that Jes has tackled through the project. I just hope he knows how thankful the girls and I are for him putting in so much time to make the house perfect for us!
Thank you Jesse for all your hard work! We Love You!
Doors and Windows are being finished up. Soffit and Facia are going on and I think the Stucco is going to be started later this week!
Our AWESOME friend Heath is helping us run the electrical wire!
We can't express how grateful we are to him and Lori for giving up their personal family time to help us with our new home! THANKS Heath and Lori!
This picture is an older one but it gives you an idea how far we have come.

The New Addition to Our Family

Well in the pink blanket is our sweet little kitty!
We got the sweet little thing on Saturday. After daddy gave the girls the ok we went and picked her up! They have named her Boo (Like the little girl on Monsters Inc.)
We have been taking her every where with us. We even went to WalMart last night and Hannah put Boo in her purse:) It is AMAZING how the little things in life make the best memories!
Hope all of you are enjoying your day!

SCHOOL IS OUT FOR THE SUMMER!

WOW!! Summer is finally here! My girls are out of school and we don't have any big plans this summer except for working on our house, going to church camp and spending lots of time together! AWESOME!! We were so ready for this school year to come to an end!! I will admit that I am one of those parents that you see crying the first day of school every year! Jesse thinks I should just schedule that day off of work! Sorry, I just can't help it! I love being with my girls! When they are gone I feel like a little piece of me is gone! But, when we all get back together at the end of the day I feel complete again! We now officially have a 7th grader (um did I just say that???), 3rd grader, and a Kindergartener!! Our girls definately made us proud again this year with their school work! Hannah had another great year with straight A's. Allee did amazing and is excited to start getting letter grades and percentages next year! Hannah is a great role model and Allee wants to be like her sister and get good grades! Hannah went on an end of the year Student Council Trip today. The other 6th grade representative didn't show up for the bus. I will confess that I offered to drive to Branson and get her (LOL)! But...Hannah texted me and said that some of the 8th grade girls asked her to be in their group today and she was going to be alright! I've been praying for her all morning! They all seem to be good kids but this is the first time that she has went somewhere like that without me...I always go on their school field trips! I love watching my girls grow but it also breaks my heart! My little caterpillars are turning into such beautiful butterflies!

Rain Rain Go Away, Come Back When Our Roof Is On...:)

Well with the rainy week behind us maybe we can have a week of sunshine so they are able to get the roof on our house! Wouldn't that be AWESOME!! Emma had her last day of preschool last Thursday. Hannah and Allee have their last day of school on Wednesday! The school year is coming to an end and then we are going to start our calm summer...well hopefully! The girls have both done great in school again this year! Jesse and I have been truely blessed with such good girls! Emma and Allee both got their hair cut this weekend and it looks adorable! Allee says to Emma today, "I think your new hair cut, cut off your sassyness." Emma says back to Allee "well I think your new hair cut, cut off your meaness." CRACK ME UP!! Lets see if they still think that in a few days, so far as of tonight it worked!

Thank You "MOMS"

Mother's Day means a lot to us! It's a day to celebrate the Moms in our lives! Jesse, Myself and our girls have been blessed with many precious "Moms" in our lives. First of all Jesse and I both had the opportunity to grow up with 2 grandmas in our lives. We both were blessed with moms who loved us and are still able to love us! We each have Aunts in our lives that were also great mom figures to us, and we can't forget the countless friends that we have that are now AWESOME "Moms" themselves! But one of the most important things is that God blessed me with the oppurtunity to be a mom too! I love every minute of being a mom! My girls and I have our moments of not seeing eye to eye but the good definatley out weighs the bad! Each one of my girls was a true blessing! Even now that they are 5, 8, and 12 I still love my cuddle time! Thanks so much to all of you that have taught us how to be good parents!

Moving Right Along

Well, since the last time I posted pictures of the house project we have really moved right along. The framers have the basement completely framed, sub floor put on, and the main level exterior walls built! The should be standing up the exterior walls and starting the main level interior walls this week...that is if they don't get rained out! They are doing an excellent job and the concrete crew did an amazing job as well! We can't thank everyone enough for working so hard on our home! My dad has became a dump truck driver and has hauled in countless loads of rock and dirt so Jesse can get the ground leveled out! Thank you to all of you that have been praying for us, we know that there are several of you! We hope that you will continue to pray with us to make good decisions as we pick out things for the new house!
