Happy 7th Birthday to our baby girl!  Emma we are so proud of you and the sweet girl you are becoming!  You keep our family rolling with all the funny things you say and there is no doubt who thinks she is the boss in our family :)  But we would be the family we are without our Emma!  Love you bunches!!  :)

Hannah...Another Year Older....Happy 14th!

Hannah turned 14 today and man what a Gorgeous day to celebrate her birthday!

I do know it was not this pretty outside 14 years ago!  We actually got some snow after we brought her home from the hospital!

Here are a few things that come to mind when we think about Hannah

Beautiful, caring, happy, self motivated, GERM-A-PHOB :), loving, helpful, encouraging,  terrified of bugs, aggressive  soccer player, reader (she always has her nose in a book!)

and most importantly a Godly young lady!

Penelopea Sophia Sheppeck was added to our Family!

We added a sweet new addition to our family on Allee's birthday!  Penelopea Sophia Sheppeck our new puppy!  Allee had already picked her out and knew she was going to get a her but she thought it was going to be another week before we would get to bring her home from my Granny's and Aunt's kennel!  Sooo  she was quite surprised when she got home from school to find sweet Penelopea waiting for her :)  Happy Birthday Al Pal!  Hope you and Penelopea have many fun memories together like I had with my childhood dog, Snuggles!

Happy 10th Birthday Our Sweet Al!

 Oh my goodness our sweet girl!  Where is our time going?  How can you already be 10?  As you like to remind us...you are double digits now :)  We love watching you grow into the beautiful young lady that you are becoming!  We can't wait to share many many more years of celebrating your birthday with you!  We pray that God continues to guide your path!  Happy Birthday our beautiful, energetic, faith-filled, prankster, goofy, hardworking, lovable, smart, soft hearted, animal lover Al Pal!

 Allee wanted a bowling party with her buddies this year!  Bowling, pizza, and a cookie cake!  What more could a girl want!  I think she had a good time but you can see for yourself ;)

Hannah and Emma's Birthday Parties

 Here is a picture from Hannah's 13th Birthday Party!  The girls had a great time playing flashlight tag, sock wrestling, and just hanging out!  The last girls awake finally called it a night around 4:30 AM :)  It doesn't seem like that long ago when my friends and I were staying up that late :)  NO WAY I could do that now though :)

 Emma had her 1st friend sleepover party this year.  Sweet Abby ended up going home around 10 PM :)  and I ended up sleeping in Emma's bed with her and Kyla :)  We all had a GREAT time!

Emma you are now 6 years old!  Your looks have changed and you look like such a big girl!
You have lost 2 front teeth and have another wobbly top tooth which you wiggle daily to see if it is ready to come out yet :)  You crack us up with your funny little comments!  You definately try to keep us all in line!  (We might even have to remind you once in a while that we can handle some situations :))  You love going to your class at church and are learning so much!  We pray that you will build a strong and lasting relationship with God and that you will learn to always put him first!  We are so glad that God placed you in our family!

*When we were driving down the road and we went around  sharp corners..."Be CAREFUL with Hannah!"

*When you were 2 you would wake up and say in your sweet little voice, "Wake Up its Our Day!"

*When we were trying to decide on a name for your little sister that we were expecting, "You can name her what you want but I'm calling her Allee!"  That finalized the decision!

We feel so Blessed to be able to say that you are our daughter and sister!

Happy 5th Birthday Emma Kaye!!

Well, 5 days after Hannah's birthday we are celebrating again with Miss Emma's 5th birthday!! It is so hard for me to believe that our baby is now 5!! I have no idea where our time has went but I do know that we really need to cherish every precious moment with our girls because it is going to be gone before we know it!

The night Emmie came into the world was one of those very AWESOME GOD moments. Our baby girl came into this world at 34 weeks. She was so early and breech so I had my 1st c-section. We had her at a small hospital that did not have a NICU. Emma was not breathing well on her own. So her pediatrician gave her 3 hours to start breathing on her own. If she didn't they were going to fly her to a bigger hospital. That is a horrible feeling not to get to go with your baby... I remember our nurse, which is one of my best friends, came in at the 2 1/2 hour mark and told us that they were calling for the helicopter. We gathered together and prayed for our baby girl that was fighting so hard to breathe on her own. I remember our friend coming back in right before the 3 hour mark and said, "Emma just started breathing on her own." GOD is so good! I fight tears every time I remember that moment and wonder why I have such a hard time trusting God with every aspect in my life.

God thank you for Emmie and thank you for that very special moment that we will never forget!
