Friends

One of my precious friends that I love very dearly always inspires me with her blog! (I hope she never feels like I am stealing ideas from her:) She is several years younger than me but I know that God placed her in my life back when we lived in St. James because he knew that I could learn a lot from her! She is one of those girls that is incredibly beautiful inside and out! Today she posted a very special blog! It has been one of those mornings for me that I have been looking at my life and the many things God has done in my life to show his presence. I just pray that I will let God use me and keep showing his presence in my life. Thanks my special friend for always inspiring me! Thanks to all my precious friends for teaching me many different life lessons. You all have a special place in my heart!

Allee's 1st Turkey

Allee and Jesse went hunting this morning and she finally got her first turkey! She was wanting to get one so bad and things just hadn't worked out for her yet but this morning she was able to get the job done! Thanks to her hunting guide, Daddy! I think she may be hooked now! After they got back in town they had a nice breakfast together!

RAIN!

Well, we have had a very nice restful weekend that was well accepted! We had rain in the forecast everyday since Thursday. So, no soccer practice Friday and no soccer games Saturday. Now, Jesse and I love going to the girls games and watching them but we also love the time at home and it seems like these "free" weekends are very few and far in between. However, the rain also meant not much done on our house last week. The forecast looks pretty good for the first of this week so I think we should be able to get our basement floor poured. Enjoying the Process

Well we are in full swing and we are really enjoying the process! Now don't get me wrong... We have came across a few bumps already, but hey we can't expect everything to be just perfect!!! When we dug the basement we hit a small natural spring?! Who would have known... So my husband decided to figure out his own way to channel the water... AND HE SUCCEEDED!! Way to go Jes! We might actually need to make a pretty water feature out of it!! Here are a few pictures of his answer to the problem and a couple of the girls playing in the mud! Our basement walls got poured on Friday and they are taking the forms down on Monday! Thanks to God for good weather why they have been pouring the concrete! The House Has Began!

Well after a long wait the ball is rolling on our house building project! We are all so excited and can't wait to enjoy our new home! A big THANKS to our family and friends that helped dig the basement last weekend! Our concrete man is there this week and our forms should be getting poured this afternoon or in the morning! We are doing a lot of praying and ask for you to do the same for us to be good stewards and for us to keep good attitudes during this project. We'll keep you posted on the stages!
